CallXpress

CallXpress is an integral part of your network and you will want to keep it current with Windows updates.  Our suggested procedure for applying Windows updates is as follows:

 

  • Update should be done during a scheduled maintenance window as automatic updates can cause unexpected reboots and service interruptions.
  • When you are ready to apply updates, stop the CallXpress service.
  • Set the CallXpress service for manual start.
  • Apply updates.
  • Reboot as necessary.
  • After final reboot, manually start CallXpress service.
  • Set CallXpress service to automatic start.

Please note, the above does not apply to Windows Service Packs.  Service Packs are tested by AVST and should not be applied until testing is completed and any known issues are resolved.  Prior to applying any Windows Service Pack, please contact support@ACP-us.com
