CallXpress
is a vital part of your organization and it should be backed up on a daily basis. CallXpress runs a daily maintenance
routine that creates backup copies of all databases. By default, this routine runs at 2:00 am. At a minimum, we
recommend you back the following up to a network location:
- D:\CX\Dailybak
- D:\CX\Speech and
all subdirectories
In the event of a system failure and loss
of data, having this information backed up will allow you to restore to the state it was in at the time of the last daily
maintenance.
Depending on the needs of your organization,
we can also assist you in developing a more advanced backup strategy. Other possibilities include:
- automated archive,
allowing for single mailbox recovery as well as full system recovery
- warm standby server
with replicated database
- full hardware crash
kit
- automated off site
data backup
